A Breather
from this relentless winter
Let’s think back to warmer days. Fall is a spectacularly beautiful time in New England - from knock-your-socks off to foliage to vibrant sunshine and cooler weather - invitations for long walks (and kayaks!)
I was working on a post that included some facts about quantum physics and entanglement theory, which my scientist-turned-artist husband was explaining to me. I tried to transcribe as he spoke, but quickly realized I couldn’t keep up. I pressed record on my magic iPhone, thinking I would excerpt a few sentences. But as he spoke, I realized the actual recording, accompanied by a few otherworldly ink/wash paintings on slippery Yupo paper would be wonderful. I went to my magical iMovie software to create a music video
BUT…when I went to iMovie, this recent music video of Reverie (a song that I wrote in the late 90’s) was still up on the screen. I listened and watched and thought, no, THIS is what we need (for so many reasons!) on this yet another beautiful fall day.
Sit back, relax and enjoy the dreamscape. Evan Price, who now plays for the Hot Club of San Francisco, wrote some quick string parts on the fly and my good friend Audrey Markowitz brought her oboe (and her bassoon-playing buddy!) into the Berklee College of Music studio. The results were stunning. I thank everyone who made the recording truly other-worldly. The photographs were taken over many travels, from here on Plum Island to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
Look for quantum and entanglement theory and the afterlife, in the some future exciting episode.
Happy Friday.

Very nice, particularly the view of the entangle qubits
Not sure your husband understands quantum entanglement. Love, Bill
